RECENT cases dealt with by Taunton Deane Magistrates' Courts include: Glen Maven, 38, of Greenway, Bishops Lydeard, driving without insurance, £170 fine, six points; driving without correct licence, £85 fine, £35 costs, £15 compensation. (G).

Anthony John Dolan, 41, of Oxen Lane, Green Acres, North Curry, made off without paying for food and drink, £180 fine, £34.85 compensation, £60 costs. (G).
