Two fire engines from Bridgwater and Taunton rushed to reports of a vehicle on fire on the M5 heading north bound between Junction 25 and 24, on Sunday September 27 at 8.45am.
On arrival crews found one small van, which had pulled on to the hard shoulder that was on fire.
The fire was in the engine which was completely destroyed, and the cab of the van was very damaged.
The cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
