WITH the rise of social media, hashtags and emojis, it was only a matter of time before the growing internet slang, made its way into the dictionary.

The Oxford English Dictionary has added more than 1,000 new words and has updated and revised around 1,000 other entries.

The list includes "Moobs" - a term used to describe unusually prominent breasts on a man, "YOLO" - an acronym meaning you only live once and "Scrumdiddlyumptious" - a term from Roald Dahl meaning delicious.

There were a number Roald Dahl's wonderful and wacky words added to mark his centenary, including Oompa Loompa and Dahlesque.
