A WEATHER warning has been put in place for the South West.
The Met Office issued the warning for the South West and Wales from this morning (Tuesday) until 11.55pm tonight.
The warning reads: "An area of showers over the Irish Sea and adjoining coasts will spread southeastwards through Tuesday.
"These will be heavy and thundery at times, particularly during Tuesday afternoon before pulling away southwards into Tuesday night.
"While many areas will not see the heaviest rainfall some parts are likely to see some disruption such as longer journey times with localised flooding of land and roads. Accumulations of 15-20 mm in an hour are possible along with 30 mm or so in two or three hours."
