Badger cull WILL go ahead

Badger cull WILL go ahead Badger cull WILL go ahead

THE Court of Appeal has today rejected a bid by the Badger Trust to block a cull of badgers.

The Badger Trust said it was disappointed the court had upheld a decision by the High Court to allow the cull - which is an attempt to control Bovine TB.

A Trust spokesman said: “The Badger Protection Act remains unfit for its supposed purpose of protecting the species.

“The science relating to culling remains completely unaffected and clear. Unfortunately scientific fact cannot be tested in court.”

Not surprised as the majority of the judiciary belong to the same class as the scum who think its fine to chase an animal for miles before its ripped apart by hounds all in the name of sport.
Hope all those involved receive plenty of stick for it.

I am against the badger cull.Who is to say whether badgers are giving cattle TB,or vice-versa?
When one sett has had all the badgers killed more badgers, from outside the cull area, will move in to occupy the sett. How many badgers will die before they find out that the cull has been ineffective because of new badgers moving in,or will they make the cull open ended?
Naturally I do not like the thought of TB entering the food chain. Is there a vaccination that is safe for cattle and human consumption? If so that is the route that should be taken.

Funny that four comments have been placed on this subject yet the story does not appear on the most commented section, its a bit like the anti hunting comments being removed from last weeks article on a hunters death.

Judging from the number of badger carcases seen at the sides of roads, often with no sign of being hit by a vehicle, there's either a suicide pact among the local badger populace, or, more likely, unofficial culling has been going on for years. The cost of the, probably unsuccessful murder of these animals would be better spent developing a vaccine for the cattle.

Still not in most commented section even after emailing SCG, obvious they are hoping no-one will notice and pass comment.
No surprise though as negative Council stories never even get posted here.

I'm really confused - how is this a "negative Council story"? Are the Council involved at all? As I understood it, Natural England are issuing licences to farmers allowing them to shoot badgers at night.

What i meant was that when SCG don't want to upset their main advertisers they either omit stories altogether like negative council stories or bury the articles like this one which is still missing from most commented section.

If your vaccinations worked then why do we still need to be vaccinated?
How come no other country in the world has had to do a cull like this?
Is it really a surprise that they don't listen, this is just another instance of the corrupt judicial system and the rich's display of non-empathy and hate for animals.
There is no freespeech, every comment is administered and chard and ilminster news is fundamentally operated by the same money and interests that controls the courts, councils, police and societies that make up the fabrication of the free society that we supposedly live in. They will cull the badgers then now have another problem because there are not enough badgers so then maybe they will just genetically modify them and clone them so they can fix that, I wouldn't be surprised.
