A MAN and a baby have been treated for smoke inhalation after a bedroom fire in Wellington.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews were called to Weavers Reach around 7.30pm (May 2).
On arrival crews confirmed that everyone was out of the property and the fire was believed to be out.
They got to work using two breathing apparatus wearers and a hose reel jet as a precaution.
An ambulance was called for a man and a baby. While they waited for medical attention to arrive, crews administered oxygen to both casualties.
The male was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
There was a small fire found in a bedroom of the property that the crews extinguished using a hose reel jet. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to ventilate the property and disperse the smoke.
