THE investigation over a suspected arson attack at a historic mill in Wellington has now been completed. 

The fire took place at the Tonedale Mill buildings on August 5. 

Avon and Somerset Police were investigating the fire in hopes of catching the culprit. 

Unfortunately no offenders have been found.

A spokesman said: "While satisfied that the fire was started deliberately, it has not been possible to identify the offender. 

"Historic England and local planning officers have been spoke to, with a view on how they intend to protect the mill, given the cultural importance to Wellington."
