University open day at Somerset College on Tuesday

POTENTIAL university students can attend an open day at Somerset College tomorrow (November 20).

The Wellington Road site is opening its doors from 2.30pm to 7pm for its University Open Day.

There will be two sessions, one starting at 2.30pm and another later option beginning at 4.30pm.

The Open Day will showcase the College as a cost-effective university option providing degree courses in conjunction with the University of Plymouth and the Open University.

There will be a dedicated time during the day to visit course lecturers and find out more about the degree course that interest visitors.

The day will also include talks with the Finance and Student services to learn more about tuition fees, student services, information, advice and guidance, as well as other sources of financial support.

A minibus service will run every 30 minutes from the campus from 3.30pm until 5.30pm to the Canonsgrove Halls of Residence for a tour of the accommodation and facilities.
