PEOPLE in Taunton Deane and West Somerset are being asked to collect used stamps this Christmas in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People.
To donate, simply cut the stamp from the envelope, leaving at least half an inch around it to prevent damage.
The RNIB receives £4.50 per kilogram for British stamps and £12.50 for foreign ones, which goes towards supporting blind and partially sighted people.
Stamps can be sent to RNIB, PO Box 6198, Leighton Buzzard LU7 9XT. For more information call 0845-3450054.
