TEAM places are still available for the 25th anniversary charity swimathon at Taunton School in February.

St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice, Taunton Opportunity Group, Somerset Young Carers and the Somerset branch of the National Blind Children’s Society are set to benefit from the two-day event, which has raised over £525,000 for good causes since it was first staged in 1988.

Among the groups signed up to the fundraiser, organised by charitable women’s group Soroptimist International Taunton, are Taunton Deane Swimming Club, the Citizens Advice Bureau and Milsted Langdon chartered accountants.

Lots of spaces are available for the first day, Saturday, February 9, but bookings for the Sunday are filling up fast, so to book a team place, email teddycat9989@ yahoo.co.uk or call 01823-423187.
