TALENTED drama and music youngsters from The Taunton Academy treated audiences to two performances.
Drama from Years 7 to 11 students was accompanied by musical soloists including Alana Kingston, Sam Sully, Ruth Hancock, Harvey Noll-Jefferies, Dulcia Sweet, Laura Cooper, Holly Salter, Charlie Harriss and Lisa Sully, and the academy’s acapella singers.
Other entertainment included the Year 11 funk band, The Cantina Band’s Star Wars interpretation, Strictly Come Dancing and Pick Up The Pieces.
The choir and musicians, directed by Huw Weston, appeared at the Mayor’s charity carol service at St Mary Magdalene Church, Taunton, in aid of leukaemia and lymphoma research, and Taunton Voluntary Action, last week.
