ALMOST £700 was raised for Railway Runabouts Pre-School in Taunton after dozens of local businesses contributed a host of prizes for a festive bingo event.

Quantock Trekking, LSC Garden Maintenance, Judith Goss Florists and Buff Urban Day Spa were among the generous contributors to the event, staged to raise funds for the charity pre-school, which has been running for over 15 years and can cater for up to 26 children aged two to five.
