A GREAT-GRANDFATHER who bought a computer when he was 90 so that he could use internet banking, e-mail and Skype his grandchildren has turned 100 this week.
Ffrangcon Evans moved to Stoke St Gregory from Snowdonia when he was 94 and celebrated his birthday with family and friends at the village hall this week.
At the party, Welshman Ffrangcon said: “I’ve been lucky to be accepted as part of a friendly community in a village similar to the one where I was brought up.”
He said the secret to his long life was love, coupled with care, and a bit of luck.
