TWELVE-year-old Grace Edemenson is off to Disneyland, Florida, thanks to energetic staff at a financial firm.

Employees at Cooper Associates, which supports the Dreams Come True charity, raised £3,500 last year to ensure that a lifelong ambition comes true for Grace, who has global development delay, which means she is confined to a wheelchair and has difficulty communicating.

To raise the money, Cooper directors Glynn and Lee Cooper cycled from Land’s End to John O’ Groats, group office manager Lisa Rawle attempted the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest three mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, and Katherine Stone and Lee ran the London Marathon.

Grace’s mother, Lynda, who lives in the Chestnut Drive area of Holway, said: “I can’t thank Cooper Associates enough for their efforts and I’m delighted that Grace can go to a place she has fantasised about for a very long time.”
