SURE latest donations
A TOTAL of £803.44 has been raised for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment SURE appeal in the past week.
It means £317,490 has come in for SURE, which helps equip the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Taunton’s Musgrove Park Hospital, since it linked up with the County Gazette.
Donations included £400 from Viridor, £132 from Heather at the Winchester Arms, Trull, £130.29 from Beverly Crocker and £55 from Mrs Woodward.
Collections of 5p coins brought in £67.65 from the Beacon Centre, £11 from Mrs Burne, and £7.50 from Andrew and Tina Potter.
