A STUDENT from Bishops Lydeard is taking part in the Taunton Half Marathon in aid of African children.
Bethan Crisp supports The Small Things charity, which provides care and support for an orphanage in Tanzania, where she will visit for the third time in June.
Bethan, who hopes to raise £500, said: "I have chosen specifically for this money to go towards the Mama's salaries, who are the workers at the orphanage.
"They are amazing people who work exceptionally hard to care for the children and it is clear to see that the children adore them just as much."
