SENIOR carer Debbie Sparkes, who manages the Mulberry Wing for people living with dementia at Nynehead Court, has been nominated for a national Carer Award, run by the publication Caring Times.
If Debbie is successful when the awards are announced in November, it would be the second recent recognition of her achievements.
Last month she was presented with the Hathaway Award, named in honour of a former manager at Nynehead Court, and awarded each year to a member of staff who goes the extra mile.
