VILLAGER Trevor Steer sent in these photos to highlight the “disgrace” of fly-tipping in North Curry.
He said the problem is particularly bad at Helland Corner.
He wrote: “I know lots of people suffer from illegal fly tippers.
“I felt this huge heap of beds etc dumped there with complete disregard for farmers entering this drove entrance was worthy of a mention to our local paper.”
Mr Steer said a large amount of carpet has also been dumped at Denmans Hill.
He added: “This is not the first time and I'm sure it will not be the last unfortunately but it's very sad that some people just feel they can offload their rubbish for someone else to clear!
“And in turn, it costs us the local residents - hence council tax payers – money.”
