TAUNTON Deane Council has made the following grants.

*£500 to Tony Baker and Jane Ruell towards the design of a brand identity for a new lettings and property management agency based in Wellington.

*£500 to Sarah Beasley-Stones, of Stawley Orchard, towards treated timber for events in connection with her affordable organic fruit business.

*£227.50 to Sarah Williams for new equipment for the Hobby Horse Riding Centre, at Kingston St Mary.

*£474.96 to Melanie Rose-Gale for signage for her business The Little Van Rouge, a vintage VW van used to sell refreshments made from local produce.

*£500 to Judith Stacey towards the cost of signage and equipment for the Pass the Thyme tea room, in Station Road, Taunton.

*And £485 to Jack Councill to meet the cost of equipment for Jack’s Garden Maintenance, based in Taunton.
