M5 accident results in lane closures and delays near Taunton and Wellington
One lane of the M5 Southbound was closed earlier this morning and between J25 A358 (Taunton) and J26 A38 (Wellington) due to an accident.
Traffic moved slowly in the area as emergency services worked to reopen the lane.
Lane three of the motorway was closed towards Tiverton.
One lane on the Northbound side of the carriageway was also closed for a time as a result but police said that traffic was still flowing well towards Taunton despite this.
All lanes have now been reopened and traffic is getting back up to speed quickly.
