As reported (see related link) a man was taken to hospital and four families were evacuated following the explosion on Friday night.
A police spokesman said today: “In an area of the flat in Gaunton Close which was safe to search we found and seized 12 large plants, six seedlings and about an ounce of dried vegetable matter, all believed to be cannabis.
"We also seized what are believed to be lights and a tent associated with the growing of cannabis plants, and enquiries are continuing.”
