THE 1,000-plus students at Taunton School have started 2015 with a new headmaster.
Lee Glaser has replaced Dr John Newton, who has moved to Australia to become principal of Scotch College in Adelaide.
Mr Glaser, Dr Newton’s deputy head for the past five years, said: “I am delighted and honoured to be leading Taunton School.
“It is a wonderful place with huge significance in my life.
“In a time of educational change, my colleagues and I are proud to inspire and challenge young people to achieve great things, helping them to maximise their academic achievements and personal potential.
“I am proud to work with gifted teachers, passionate about their subject, who inspire and challenge our pupils and young adults.”
