STAFF at the Mecca Taunton held a “onesie” charity event on Monday evening to help customers banish the January Blues on the most depressing day of the year.
There were plenty of smiles when the all-in-one outfits and other fancy dress costumes were the order of the day as the Mecca helped to brighten up Blue Monday.
Donations raised will be given to the Carers Trust – Mecca’s partnered charity which helps the millions of unpaid carers across the UK.
Mecca Taunton general manager, Davina Warden, said: “It’s no big secret that January is a depressing month as the post-Christmas holiday blues set in. The onesie charity event was a great opportunity to make people smile.”
