HOMEOWNERS in an area of north Taunton are being warned not to panic if their water is temporarily cut off or they notice a drop in water pressure over the next few days.
Wessex Water is carrying out essential work on the supply network in Obridge, Priorswood, Lyngford Road and Massingham Park between 10pm today (Monday, January 26) and 4pm on Friday.
Customers may also experience some water disolouration, which can be cleared by running cold water kitchen taps - in some cases for up to 30 or 40 minutes and people are recommended not to use their washing machines until the water clears.
Wessex Water is warning people to beware of bogus callers - it doesn't expect its staff will need to enter homes, but if they do, check their identification.
If you have any queries, contact Wessex Water customer services on 0345-6004600.
