NOT sure who to vote for in Taunton Deane in May’s General Election?
Then pop along to the first event featuring all six candidates on the same stage.
You have the chance to question their views and hear their promises at a Question Time-style event in the Conference Centre, at Somerset College, Taunton.
The Chamber of Commerce are hosting the meeting at 7.30pm on Friday (January 30), when president Colin Barrell will be in the chair.
Competing to be the constituency’s fifth MP in the last six Parliaments are Laura Bailhache (UKIP), Rachel Gilmour (LibDem), Neil Guild (Labour), Clive Martin (Green), Rebecca Pow (Conservative) and Mike Rigby (Independent).
Current MP Jeremy Browne is not standing after two years in the post – the previous three elections were won by different politicians, with Adrian Flook (conservative) triumphing in 2001, Jackie Ballard (LibDem) in 1997 and David Nicholson (Conservative) in 1992.
To book your place at Friday’s event, when tickets are £15, call 07808-776244 or e-mail office@taunton-chamber.co.uk
