FOOTBALL will be the focus of attention at the Castle Sports Centre in Taunton in February with a new initiative to encourage visually-impaired footballers along to play.
Free taster sessions for visually-impaired footballers will take place at the Castle Sports Centre on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, and Tuesday, February 10, 2015, between 5.30pm and 7pm to encourage more people with disabilities to take up the sport of VI Football.
Castle Sports Centre is run by the 1610 leisure group and the company’s football development officer, Julie Bowker, said the aim of the new initiative was to make the sport more inclusive to the local community.
