BRIGHT red comedy glasses and hair raising eyebrows are the order of the day at the Specsavers store in Taunton as it supports Comic Relief.

Staff at the store in East Street have already been raising money for the national appeal by holding children’s fun days during last week’s half-term.

Visitors to Specsavers can make their faces funny for money with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Emma Denham, store director of Specsavers Taunton, said: “We are all looking forward to getting our Comic Relief fundraising off to a good start. The team is encouraging everyone to come into store and join in the fun.”

On Red Nose Day itself – on Friday, March 13 - staff members will be dressed in fancy dress and have a static bike in store. All customers will be encouraged to make their face funny for money with the Red Nose Day glasses!
