THE 48-year-old man killed in a single car collision in Bridgwater last Tuesday, March 10, has been named as Ron Nutt, of Highbridge.

He was driving north on the A38 Bristol Road when his Citroen Xantia left the road and hit a tree just before the Dunball roundabout at about 2pm.

A five-year- old boy in the car was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, as a precaution, but was unhurt.

It is believed Mr Nutt, a lorry driver, suffered a heart attack and lost control of his vehicle.
