A BISHOPS Lydeard teenager is representing Somerset at the Miss Teen British Isles finals.
Katie Dellipiani, aged 15, a student at West Somerset College, in Minehead, is among 30 contestants taking part in the competition in the Hilton Hotel, Liverpool, on Sunday.
Over 2,500 people entered after finding out about it from the modelling industry watchdog ALBA.
Katie, whose hobbies include dancing and acting, said: “I was delighted to be chosen as a finalist and I’m looking forward to the big day.”
If she wins, she’ll get several prizes, including £1,000 cash, the Miss Teen British Isles crown, a portfolio, clothes, shoes, a photo shoot for an on-line retailer and a £500 designer gown.
