FORMER military officer Nikki Miller is joining Taunton School as chief operating officer.
Mrs Miller spent 14 years in the Army and served in a variety of roles across the world, rising to the rank of Major.
She is currently bursar at Port Regis, a co-educational preparatory boarding school in Shaftesbury, where she has worked for seven years.
Mrs Miller is married to Simon, the bursar at Sherborne Girls’ School, and the couple have three children.
She said: “I’m thrilled to have been appointed to take up this really exciting role.
“I'm thoroughly looking forward to joining the team and getting to meet and know my new colleagues as soon as possible.”
Headmaster Lee Glaser, said: “Nikki will bring a wealth of expertise and experience to Taunton School and I am really looking forward to working with her.”
