A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl was attacked by a dog while she was playing at the play area in Rowan Drive on Saturday (June 27).
The girl was on the zip wire seat when a Staffordshire Bull Terrier jumped up and bit her stomach and wrist.
It caused a minor wound and the dog ran back to its owner when called.
The owner, described as a 30-year-old white man, about 5ft 8 with a bald head with very bad eczema on his arms then walked off without any concern for the child.
The dog is brown with black stripes and was wearing a red collar.
It wasn’t seen to have been muzzled or on a lead at any point.
If you are the owner, or know who he is, call 101 quoting crime reference 69302/15 and ask to speak to PC 4738 Rachel Hobbs.
Alternatively, you can pass on any information in confidence to Crimestoppers on 0800-555111 or via their website.
