CROWDS enjoyed live music, cakes and plenty of sporting events at the National Citizen Service's family fun sports day in Victoria Park.
The event, last Thursday, was to raise money for Operation Smile and 2bu, the NCS's chosen causes.
TheNCS is run by the Somerset Rural Youth Project.
Justin Mirto, NCS team leader said: "It was a really good day and the sun was shining for us.
"It was really well attended and I think we've managed to raise around £100."
The next NCS will be taking place in the October half-term.
