M5 between Taunton and Wellington closed both ways tonight (Thursday)
IF you're thinking of driving between Taunton and Wellington on the motorway tonight (Thursday, October 1), then think again.
The M5 will be closed between Junctions 25 and 26 overnight to allow utility works to take place.
The road will be closed northbound and southbound, with the exception of one lane in either direction, from 8pm until 10pm.
All three lanes both ways will then be closed from 10pm until 6am tomorrow (Friday, October 2).
Diversions will be clearly signposted.
