Cooker fire call out in Trull for Taunton firefighters as kitchen destroyed by flames and smoke
Taunton firefighters were called out Wyatts Field at Trull, after a call that a cooker that had caught alight.
Three crews from Taunton attended just before 7pm yesterday evening and found smoke pouring from the home.
The firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, one thermal imaging camera, a positive pressure ventilation fan.
A spokesman said the fire caused 25% fire damage to the kitchen and 100% smoke damage.
