JAMIE Edwards made it a hat trick of golds in an international athletics meeting.
Jamie took time out from lessons at The Castle School, Taunton, to compete at the Paralympic Schools Games in Brazil.
And he came first in the 100 metres, 400 metres and 1,500 metres races.
A school spokeswoman said: "Everyone at The Castle School is so proud of Jamie and what he has achieved.
"He is not only a talented sportsman, but he is also incredibly modest; he is an inspiration to so many and we are excited to see what the future holds for him."
