PROPERTY specialists Greenslade Taylor Hunt have donated £5,000 to the Musgrove Park League of Friends after staff members received outstanding cancer care at the hospital.
GTH partner Graham Ford said: “The partners were very pleased to donate £5,000 to the charity who plan to spend the money on a cancer-related project in 2016.”
Louise Pearce, an administrator in the firm’s Land and Planning Department in Taunton, was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer. Thanks to excellent treatment she is now free of the disease.
She said: “My treatment and care has been amazing thanks to the breast cancer surgeons, nurses and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital and as a result my recovery has been swift and relatively easy and my treatment is now complete.”
As a result she is keen to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Next June she is embarking on a gruelling 400 mile cycle challenge through three cities – London, Amsterdam and Brussels in just four days.
She is hoping to raise £1,500 with the venture. If you would like to support her efforts please go to www.justgiving.com
