YOUNGSTERS in year two at King's Hall School enjoyed a visit to the At-Bristol Learning Centre.
The pupils took part in a fun themed day linked to their project work about keeping healthy.
They learned about the workings of a human body and as part of a workshop and were introduced to a child-sized puppet whose organs could be removed.
Pupils also investigated various animal skulls and viewed living species, namely themselves, under microscopes.
Highlights included a blind tasting of Fruit Pastilles and a fiery demonstration of the energy stored in icing sugar.
