A SOLICITORS in Taunton has generously teamed up with a Norton Fitzwarren-based charity to fund a complete new uniform for all their staff, volunteers and students.

The Conquest Centre provides horse-based activities such as riding lessons, carriage driving and horse care sessions for people with physical and learning disabilities, as well as opportunities for the whole community.

Their services enable people with additional needs to relax, have fun, improve their physical health and learn and develop.

Last year the centre adopted a new up-to-date name and logo and following this they urgently needed new uniform.

And now Everys Solicitors has kindly funded a new uniform for the centre.

Jess Thresher, centre manager, said: “It is vital that all the staff, volunteers and students who run Conquest Centre wear a uniform so our clients, their parents and carers and other visitors can instantly recognise who to approach for help and information when they are on site.

"We were really struggling to fund the new uniforms we needed following our change of name and logo and we were so grateful when Everys agreed to sponsor everything we needed."

Kate Blackmore, Conquest Centre instructor co-ordinator, said: “The new uniforms are great.

"I love the fleeces in particular. Virtually all our work takes place outside and they will really help us all keep warm and continue delivering the highest quality services to our clients right through the cold winter months.”

Will Vine, associate at Everys Solicitors in Taunton, said: “Everys are proud to sponsor Conquest Centre which plays such an important role in the community.

"We enjoy working with everyone concerned and meeting those who benefit from this wonderful facility”.
