STUDENTS at Bishop Fox’s got a taste of what is to come at the Year 7 Freshers Fayre.

On Thursday, September 16, the young students got the chance to view a variety of extra-curricular activities.

The school was packed with stalls to promote existing and new clubs including music, sciences, languages, drama and dance.

Budding bakers and golfers also had the chance to find their passions at the club stalls.

Steve Summerill, deputy head, said: “At Bishop Fox’s we want our students to not only excel academically, but also to develop a wide range of skills, interest and knowledge to make them well rounded individuals by the time they leave us and enter their next stage.”

The school says every student in the year is expected to commit to at least one activity, the freshers fayre aimed to give them a complete overview of the choices available to them before they signed up.
