A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after her car ened up in a field following a crash with a van in Churchinford.
Emergency services were called to Church Road just after 1pm to reports of a car crash, including a rescue tender from Taunton and a fire engine from Wellington.
A car and van were involved in a crash with both vehicles leaving the road and ending up in a field.
A woman was trapped in the vehicle, so fire crews stabilised and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free her.
She was taken to hospital via air ambulance and two other people were also taken to hospital in an ambulance.
More to follow.
