CLEAR: The M5 southbound between J20 and J21 is now clear after a crash in Clevedon earlier today
THE M5 southbound is now clear after a crash in Clevedon earlier today halted traffic and left one lane closed.
Police received a number of calls at 4.30pm after the crash on the M5 southbound.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at 4.30pm to reports of a crash on the M5 southbound between Weston super-Mare and Clevedon.
"It was a two car crash.
"No one was seriously injured but South West Ambulance are there dealing with casualties on site.
"Delays are expected as Highways clear the road.
"Lane one is closed and traffic is slow."
