POLICE have issued a series of images of a young Somerset man who went missing after a night out nine days ago.

Mystery surrounds the whereabouts of Deakon Wilkins, 24, of Weston-super-Mare, who has not been seen since the early hours of Saturday, January 14.

He had been on a night out at Motion nightclub, in Avon Street, Bristol.

He is described as white, of medium build, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, with ginger hair and has a tattoo between his neck and chest of the word 'Rush'.

Inspector Jason Shears said: “We’re using a significant number of resources in our search for Deakon and have already issued a number of photographs as part of our appeal for help in finding him.

“We now hope the CCTV image showing the clothes he was wearing when he was last seen might jog someone’s memory.

“If you were in Motion or the surrounding area last Friday night or Saturday morning and remember seeing someone dressed in a red fitted jumper, black blazer, dark jeans and red trainers then please, I urge you to get in touch.

“Deakon’s disappearance is out of character and we’re increasingly concerned for his welfare.”

Anyone who sees Deakon is asked to call 999 and provide the call handler with the reference 5217012724.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 101 quoting the same reference.
