DRIVERS faced long delays on the A358 after a four car crash in Henlade.

Police, ambulance and fire services were all been called to the scene on the duel carriageway.

The road was blocked causing delays on A358 eastbound and on A378 travelling in both directions.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: "We were called at around 4.10pm to a four vehicle collision on A358 eastbound.

"The road is blocked. The fire have attended, as have the ambulance service.

"The latest update from the ambulance service is that the injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

"Part of the carriageway has been closed."

The road has now re-opened and traffic has returned to normal.

South Western Ambulance Service has been contacted. An update on any injuries sustained in the crash is still to come.
