FOR the first time, Taunton Farmers Market has been cancelled due to the bad weather.
Storm Doris will be battering the town with strong winds all day, so organisers have decided to cancel today's market "for the safety of everyone".
It's the first time in 18 years that weather has shut down the market.
The market posted on its Facebook page:
"Due to extreme weather conditions we are sadly cancelling the market today.
"First time the weather has beaten us down, but it's for the safety of everyone."
The market will be back at its usual time next Thursday.
