A 1940s themed soap box derby will be taking place to help raise money for charity.
The event is being held in Stoke St Mary on Sunday, May 28 in aid of the RNLI and Go Commando.
This will be the second soap box derby, following the success of last year’s inaugural event which raised more than £1,800 for the Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Other entertainment on the day will include afternoon teas and a cake stall, craft stalls, ice creams, plant sales and art displays.
Food will be served all day and there will be a live band in the evening at The Half Moon Inn.
Entry to the event is £2.50 and children under 16 go free.
Fun will kick off at noon, with runs for the derby starting at 1.30pm and all are welcome.
During the duration of the event, the road from Lower Henlade to Stoke St. Mary will be closed.
