A SOCIAL club in Taunton held a charity event to aid one of its members.
The 68 Club, on Cheddon Road, held the event on Friday night (July 14) which raised £4,500.
Professional darts played Justin Pipe attended the event in aid of club member Andy Margetts, who is currently battling cancer.
A spokesman said: "The night was a great success with Andy getting up on stage to play a few legs against the pros.
"A big thank you to everyone involved including the professional darts players for travelling from all parts of the country to make the night the success it was, names included Scott Mitchell, Kevin Painter, Kyle Anderson, Wes Newton and Jamie Lewis.
"We would like to wish Andy and his family all the best in the coming months."
