WORKERS have wasted little time moving into a pub that has closed for improvements.
This is the scene at the rear of Perkin Warbeck, in Taunton, which closed earlier this month for almost three months.
Owners Wetherspoons are spending £1.4 million refurbishing the premises.
They are creating an open-air roof terrace cum beer garden looking out onto Church Square and St Mary Magdalene Church.
There will also be a covered undercroft with seating at the front in East Street and an additional rear terrace, The pub is due to re-open on October 3.
