A LADIES-ONLY gym has raised more than £700 for charity.

The women, from Cardio Cabin, held the event to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.

On June 20, the members marched through Taunton where they collected donations.

They then held a coffee morning and a raffle where businesses in the area donated prizes.

In the afternoon, the group held a Zumbathon with instructor Vic Perkins. The women were joined by the men who took part in the workout during the heatwave.

The events were held in memory of the owner of the gym's mother. Sharon Chown, owner, wanted to hold the event in memory of her mother Julia, who sadly passed away from cancer.

In total, £760 was raised for the children's charity.
