FIRE: Crews were called out to East Street just after 9am this morning
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a deal with a kitchen fire at the Allstars bar in East Street this morning.
Crews from Bridgwater and Taunton were called shortly after 9am today (Saturday, August 19) to the scene where a fire had broken out in a deep fat fryer on the first floor.
The team quickly managed to douse the flames and used a positive pressure ventilation van to rid the premises of smoke.
The building had been evacuated and nobody was injured.
