AN investigation has been launched after a crash involving a police van and a motorcycle.
A police vehicle was responding to an emergency call when it was involved in a collision with a motorcyclists at around 1.30pm today (September 12).
The incident happened at the junction of Monmouth Street and St John Street in Bridgwater.
The motorcyclists has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Avon and Somerset Police has confirmed that an investigation will be carried out following the incident.
A spokesman said: "An investigation will now be carried out into the circumstances of the collision.
"Any witnesses are asked to contact us online or using the non-emergency number, 101, quoting log 465 of September 12."
